Since 1987, I have taught children of all ages and abilities, assisting in K-8 classrooms, leading outdoor science and summer arts programs, and coaching middle school and high school sports. The insights and techniques I have gained from this wealth of experience mean that I can find a way to meet your child wherever he or she is on the learning curve and bring them to the next level.
With over 30 years of experience in teaching and coaching students and an extensive background in special education, I am in a strong position to serve as a facilitator for teachers and families in order to make parents feel more relaxed about their child’s learning and educational experience. I employ a thematic, multisensory approach to learning, while ensuring that children feel comfortable with distance learning protocols as appropriate.
I am available for personalized tutoring sessions in-person for students of all abilities in grades 1 - 8, especially students with early childhood learning disabilities.
